Even if times have changed and Filipinas have become more outspoken, did you know that there’s one topic that still make us blush?  When asked how to refer to their private parts, respondents either giggled, covered their mouths or looked away.  Local feminine wash brand pH Care thinks it’s about time to talk freely sans fear or embarrassment about the women’s most private and seemingly controversial part- our vaginas. This step is vital to truly caring about our entire being.

Speak Up Girl!

The brand recently launched #talktoPHCare — a call to Filipinas to start asking about feminine care and hygiene. Through pH Care’s official website, girls of all ages can now have a safe and private space where they are free to ask anything and everything about taking care of their intimate part. Through these digital avenues, the brand continues to show that they definitely “GotYouGirl.”

In an event held pre-quarantine, members of the media came full fore to support pH Care’s all-women forum.  The speakers are the same three artists that were invited to collaborate with the brand to showcase their individual works on how they view femininity. Sara Black, known for her arresting portrayals of women, amused the crowd with portraits of women holding different kinds and sizes of fruits over their chests. The other two participants were artist Soleil Ignacio and graphic designer Winnie Wong.

Panelists and Artists Winnie wong, Soleil Ignacio, Sara Black and moderator Lynn PInugu shared their personal experiences on women’s issues.

At the Mega Fashion Hall, guests took their time in admiring the works of the three women. A panel discussion hosted by Joyce Pring and moderated by Lyn Pinugu of She Talks Asia proved to be both highly entertaining and very informative.  The panelists shared their experiences, questions were asked by the audience, and some also gave their opinions on different issues.
